Is cosmetic laser surgery to remove stretchmarks safe for a 15 year old girl safe?

I was wondering if it was safe…

There are creams out there that can help get rid of your stretch marks, but you need to find the right one.

I found this on the site I put in the source box below:

Things to look for in a stretch mark cream

There are a lot of creams and ointments out there that claim to remove stretch marks. The best way to fight stretch marks is to increase your skins flexibility before your stretch marks start appearing by using a topical cream on the area before the skin starts to show stretch marks. If you already have stretch marks, hope is not lost. There are creams out there that contain ingredients that help heal the skin while minimizing scar tissue.

Some of the key ingredients that you will want to make sure your cream contains are:

Vitamin A Palmitate

Vitamin A is an essential vitamin and is best known for having positive effects on vision. However Vitamin A is just as important to the largest organ; the skin.

Clinical studies have shown vitamin A to have properties that block the absorption of harmful UVA and UVB rays, as well as a stimulating effect on cell regeneration. It has been clinically shown to improve the appearance of striae (stretch marks) and regulate epidermal (skin) cell growth.

Aloe Vera Extract

Aloe vera has been shown in clinical studies to have a positive effect on wound healing and holds anti-inflammatory properties.

As stretch marks start out as microscopic tears in skin layers due to overstretching of the dermis, aloe vera helps heal these small wounds without causing scar tissue to form, effectively preventing the appearance of stretch marks. Aloe vera has been used for thousands of years by the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Arabs, Indians and Chinese to decrease the appearance of scars and to moisturize and heal skin.

This extract from the aloe leaf protects skin from environmental factors and promotes skin regeneration.

Grapefruit Seed Extract

Grapefruit seed extract is a natural antibiotic used for many different types of skin ailments. It is a powerful ingredient to aid in the healing of skin damage. Grapefruit seed extract helps to restore damaged collagen and elastin, which strengthens and retextures the skin.

As collagen and elastin are responsible for the skins elasticity, improving and stimulating production of the connective tissue cells will prevent skin from tearing and thus prevent the formation of stretch marks. The condition of the skins connective tissue also dictates how well the skin contracts after pregnancy. So not only does this compound improve the condition of your stretching skin, after the delivery it will also aid in the contraction of your skin to its previous appearance.

DL-Penthenol

DL-Penthenol is the scientific name for pro-vitamin B5. It has healing properties on damaged skin as it works to improve the structure of both the lower and upper skin layers. DL-Panthenol soothes skin while stimulating cell growth and differentiation.

This ingredient aids in the regeneration of the skin, therefore aiding in reducing the appearance of existing stretch marks by replacing the scar tissue with new skin cells. It also acts to prevent stretch marks by promoting collagen and elastin production, which allows your skin to stretch without rupturing and causing stretch marks.

A cream that has shown to be highly effective at preventing stretch marks as well as healing stretch marks that you already have is called Stretch Mark Prevention by Revitol.

Whether you are afraid that stretch marks may be in your future of if they are already a part of your life, a good Stretch Mark Prevention cream is what you will want on your side!

How do I get rid of freckles?

I hate my freckles, there all by my nose, eyes, and cheeks. They make me look bad, I just want a cat to scratch my whole face. I hear laser cosmetic surgery gets rid of them, but once you go into the sun they come back. Freckles really doesn’t run in my family, im the only one with it. How do I get rid of my freckles permanently?

Laser will zap it right out. Cost $750 per session for each large freckle or mole Risk: blistering or sunburn, which can be prevented with the use of sunblock and Aquaphor.

Example from one who had laser surgery to remove freckles:
I had laser surgery to remove my freckles yesterday . . .?
she said it will be sore the first day and boy was it and she said i may have some swelling, well i woke up this morning and the skin under my eyes is swollen so bad that my eyes are almost closed. i took a goodies headache medicine because it says it contains an anti-inflammatory drug, i also have an ice pack on my eyes. What else should i do? Should what i’m already doing help?

Do you know how many freckles, moles or age spots do you have?

The next best solution is to avoid the sun. Those freckles, moles or age spots will only get larger and darker.
Sunscreen will not protect you from getting burned.

Sunscreen does not protect you from getting moles or freckles, they will only get darker & bumpier or larger from each exposure from the sun.

Sunscreen will not protect you from skin cancer.

Sunscreen will not protect you if you have allergies, I never thought I had allergies!

Sunscreens also discolor your skin – for ever!

But I had Discoid Lupus caused from the sun. Google it. Took 12 years for mine to almost ‘fade’. I don’t want any more lupus appearing on my skin, so now I’m more & more into protecting myself.

I’m the kind of person who has families with moles as large as raisin-size. I don’t want moles on my body, so I always have been concern about that. But, how I got lupus? I don’t know! I got it period.

The sun is more powerful than most people think.

I’ve tried bangs but dont like them. I feel like I hav a wide, slightly long forehead. I’m opene to the idea of cosmetic surgery and money doesn’t matter at all. Is there any surgeries or laser procedures to change my hairlime or something? Anything else? Thanks :)

I’ve known women who would arch their eyebrows at an higher arch or even wear hairstyles with the babyhair brought lower. I personally think wearing bangs or even parting the hair straight down the middle is the best way to go.

Hope it helps♥

Can cosmetic procedures such us plastic surgery can be counted towards medical bills for tax return?

For example, laser hair removal, face laser procedure remove pigments….etc… can any plastic surgery be used towards $5,000 or more on tax return? Please let me know. Thinking of doing some but not sure if it’s tax deductible. Thanks for your answers.

Straight from the IRS website:

Cosmetic Surgery
Generally, you cannot include in medical expenses the amount you pay for unnecessary cosmetic surgery. This includes any procedure that is directed at improving the patient’s appearance and does not meaningfully promote the proper function of the body or prevent or treat illness or disease. You generally cannot include in medical expenses the amount you pay for procedures such as face lifts, hair transplants, hair removal (electrolysis), and liposuction.

You can include in medical expenses the amount you pay for cosmetic surgery if it is necessary to improve a deformity arising from, or directly related to, a congenital abnormality, a personal injury resulting from an accident or trauma, or a disfiguring disease.

Example.
An individual undergoes surgery that removes a breast as part of treatment for cancer. She pays a surgeon to reconstruct the breast. The surgery to reconstruct the breast corrects a deformity directly related to the disease. The cost of the surgery is includible in her medical expenses.

How much does cosmetic surgery cost?

How much does eye bag removal cost?

Also how much does laser hair removal cost for your legs and face?

Laser is only hair reduction and not 100% permanent. It only works on people who have very light skin and dark thick black hair. Laser goes after pigment so the bigger and darker the bulb at the end of you hair is the more effective it would be. The only problem is, is that not very much of out hair is in the growing stage all the time which lessens the amount of hair with bulbs. Electrolysis is the only 100% permanent hair removal for all skin and hair types. If you choose to do laser be prepared after the treatments are done to have to see and electrologist anyway afterward to remove all the hairs left behind.

Will laser hair removal show up on my medical record?

I got laser hair removal about four years ago. It was a terrible idea, in hindsight. Not only was it ineffective, but it was extremely expensive. Today, I’m embarrased to have even considered this option. I’m always railing against cosmetic surgery and superficiality, and I feel like a complete hypocrite now. (I was convinced to do it by a series of pressures I won’t go into now). Anyway, will this procedure show up on my permanent medical record? Do any cosmetic procedures, for that matter? I’m worried that any future employer who checks my medical record might pre-judge me based on this, perhaps thinking I’m a vapid person. Thank you for your help!

Since it is considered cosmetic and done at a special clinic, it would not be in your hospital medical records, not unless it was recommend by your primary care physician and a referral was given for it, or if it was done at the doctors office or hospital you go to.

Are depigmentation eye drops worth whatever risks are involved?

March 28, 2011 by

I haven’t seen any place selling things, but someone suggested it as an alternative to laser surgery or cosmetic implants for changing the color of the iris. I’ve seen the NewColorIris and Lumineyes (though their site was extremely uninformative) websites and I was wondering if these drops are the safest way BESIDES contact lenses to change the actual color of the iris.

I think who ever suggested that was dreaming, no such thing exists.

Depigmentation of the iris has been known to be a side effect in some brand of drops used for glaucoma to control the pressure in a few cases, but then treatment was needed for that, because that isn’t supposed to happen.

How much should I tip for laser hair removal?

I will be getting my first treatment soon, and the person who will be performing this procedure is a RN. Does this make a difference? The place is more of a medical setting, where cosmetic surgery is also performed. I’m also buying a package, so I’m only going to make one large payment to cover all 6 of my visits.

NOTHING!! She’s getting paid already. This whole tipping thing has gotten completely out of hand. If you want to give her a tip—tell her not to eat yellow snow or something!

What cosmetic procedure can i have done, to make my face appear thinner?

Does laser surgery help with this?
Any other types of surgery?

Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on the extent of the changes you would like to make, the solutions can be quick and temporary, to intensive and more permanent. Botox, if treated properly, can actually be used to enhance the structure of the face, making it appear thinner and more fit. That can be a temporary solution. SmartLipo, which involves advanced laser technology, might be an answer, but it depends on the circumstances and situation, and generally isn’t used for facial procedures. The only way to be certain of your options would be to consult a cosmetic surgeon so that he or she can provide you with solutions that fit your needs.
