How much would an average upper eyelid cosmetic surgery cost for both eyes?

I would think it is one of the least expensive cosmetic procedures. I’m a Hispanic girl in my 30′s with big eyes. I don’t have a crease on my eyelids.

Visit this most informative and trusted site: RealSelf.com
You can ask specific detailed questions online (it’s free) and many board certified medical experts – doctors, top notch plastic surgeons, etc. who participate voluntarily without payment(so it’s unbiased) will respond online with all the information and typical costs. Some also submit before and after photos of those who have undergone treatments. You can then have direct contact with the surgeons who respond.

Site is used by many hundreds who have undergone a wide range of cosmetic and plastic surgery treatments. Many share online their assessments of the treatments, good and bad (and sometimes nightmarish) and submit before and after photos and state whether or not they recommend the surgeon used. They also state costs.
You will see that even with the most highly qualified and most experienced board certified surgeons there are a high percentage of less than satisfactory results. It suggests you should be very careful in choosing the best qualified surgeon…

Can cosmetic surgery really make an individual look unrecognisable?

I’ve been thinking about this recently. Surely, despite having several facial procedures (nose jobs, chin implants and even going as far as having bone shaved off parts of the face to achieve a more ‘ideal aesthetic look’) someone would still look the same. Like the very essence of their physical identity – would you somehow be able to recognise them?

I don’t know if it’s at all possible to change a face so much by having a variety of cosmetic procedures that you look unrecognisable – anyone wanna shed any light?

Are there any websites that allow people to donate money toward various cosmetic surgery procedures (similar to www.myfreeimplants.com), but not just breast augmentation ?

If anyone knows of sponsors for mommy makeovers (abdominoplasty/mastopexy) please contact me.

is there a medical insurance designed specifically for cosmetic procedures or surgery?

March 14, 2011 by

i’m wanting to get some laser hair removal procedures done but my insurance doesn’t cover it.

Health insurance only covers procedures that are medically necessary. Insurance for cosmetic purposes is not available.

A company that would offer insurance designed specifically to cover cosmetic procedures would be bankrupt in short order. Why? Because only those that intended to have a procedure done would buy the insurance. The company would be paying claims on each and every policy and policyholders would drop their insurance once the procedures were completed.

New cosmetic surgery procedures?

March 13, 2011 by

I’m interested in surgical research and was just wondering what new procedures and/or improvements in existing operations the general public would like to see developed. I’m guessing less invasive body-contouring operations for women and a greatly improved phalloplasty for men.

I would really like to see a cure for cellulite be invented, even if it’s a surgical procedure.

Michael Jackson cosmetic surgery?

I was just looking at news articles about Michael Jackson, and was wondering out of curiosity if he himself ever admitted or commented on his cosmetic surgery procedures or did he just not comment on it at all?

Apparently he said that he had surgery on his nose because his father always called him big nose, And he changed his appearance so much because he hated hs father so much he didnt want to resemble him at all.
Also, apparently he had a skin condition which caused his skin to lighten dramatically.
